Headquartered in Hong Kong, Intelligent CAD/CAM Technology Ltd. (abbreviate as ICT) was founded by three experienced engineering professionals in 1994. ICT was setup focusing on innovative and advanced 3D technologies and had a vision that 3D will be the mainstream in computer-aided design and manufacture (CAD/CAM) markets.

In 1996, with the popularity to use Windows® platform software for personal computer grew in 90s, ICT introduced SolidWorks®, the first Windows®-based ease-of-use and powerful 3D design system from Boston, Massachusetts into Hong Kong market. Very soon, ICT was appointed as the master authorized distributor for SolidWorks® in South China, Hong Kong and Macau and was among the first group of distributors certified as SolidWorks Authorized Training and Testing Centre in Asia Pacific.

Since 2003, ICT also developed and launched own product 3DQuickMold, which is the plastic mold design solution on top of SolidWorks. 3DQuickMold® is a professional plastic mold design solution. It is developed by an engineering team with more than 15 years in CAD programming and plastic mold design industry. With the introduction of 3DQuickMold® in the market for less than two years, 3DQuickMold® is leading in market acceptance and growth rate in the local market. The success of 3DQuickMold® tell us that there is a large demand of 3D mold design software in plastic mold design industry. To meet the demand, 3DQuickMold Ltd is established, and with the 3DQuickMold® resellers around the world, to further promote 3DQuickMold® and bring this powerful mold design software to world level.

ICT has been striving to bring in best-in-class products and service to cater customers’ need for enhanced productivity and has gained recognition with various sales and service awards. ICT also offers spectrum of solutions on computer-aided engineering (CAE), product data management ((PDM), 3D digitizing and 3D printing (3DP).

After 10 years of continued growth, nowadays ICT has branches situated at Shenzhen and Guangzhou in addition to Hong Kong office and has been serving over 5,000 customers in industrial, educational and governmental bodies in South China region scattered from machinery, toys, watch and clock, mold and die, electrical and electronics industries.
