How to get CSWP
In Certified SolidWorks Professional exam (CSWP),your mark is required over 80.
What does the certification test include?
The CSWP exam is an all-day event that consists of a general knowledge exam and a performance-based modeling test. The general knowledge exam includes multiple choice, true/false, matching, and fill-in-the-blank questions. The performancebased portion of the test consists of two parts:
1. SolidWorks Basic Skills: Create and edit basic models, build assemblies, and create drawings. Demonstrate mastery of feature creation, and diagnosis and repair of models.
2. SolidWorks Advanced Topic: Choose one advanced topic and demonstrate your ability to use SolidWorks to handle advanced tasks. Some examples of advanced topics include sheet metal, mold creation, and freeform shapes.
What is a passing grade and how is the certification test weighted?
You must receive a score of at least 80% to pass the certification test. The test is weighted in the following manner:
Written Exam- 20%
Basic Skills- 60%
Advanced Topic- 20%
